Mid-Atlantic’s Largest Rummage Sale Coming Oct. 14 & 15!

Leesburg, VA – The 79th Annual Ladies Board Rummage Sale will be held on Saturday, October 14 and Sunday, October 15 at Morven Park Equestrian Center, 41580 Sunday Morning Lane along Rt. 15 north of Leesburg, VA. Hours are from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. both days, and admission is free during regular sale hours. Doors will open at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 14 for the Early Bird Hour.

Named the 2016 Annual Tourism Event of the Year in Loudoun AND named Best Annual Charity Event in Northern Virginia for three consecutive years (2017, 2016 and 2015) by Virginia Living magazine, the Rummage Sale draws shoppers from the entire mid-Atlantic region. This more-than 55,000 square foot bargain shopping extravaganza offers almost everything imaginable: antiques, collectibles, books, furniture, clothing and accessories for the entire family, tools, sports and exercise equipment, small appliances, household items and décor, designer labels, electronics, holiday items, jewelry, and toys.

One of the most popular departments is the Silent Auction held on Saturday, October 14 from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Items in the Silent Auction this year include: a four-night stay with Exclusive Resorts’ private collection of homes in Grand Cayman, Mexico, Arizona and California; a Pacman arcade machine; Tiffany platter and plates; P. Buckley Moss prints; golf and dining gift certificates; Middleburg Film Festival tickets and a grandfather clock. Bidding ends promptly at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, October 14.

Tickets for the Early Bird entrance are $12.00 in advance and $15.00 at the door, and are needed for anyone 12 years or older before 9:00 a.m. Saturday. Market Street; The Gift Shop at Inova Loudoun Hospital, 44045 Riverside Parkway; and the Black Shutter Antique Shop, 1 Loudoun Street, SW. Ticket proceeds benefit the Polly Clemens Nursery Fund, a project dedicated to special needs at Inova Loudoun Hospital’s Nursery.
